THE BIRTH OF INTENSITY!

In the 1970's the project known as INTENSITY! started as a loose collection of musicians seeking a format to experiment without boundaries. Members were given the opportunity to let off steam by stepping outside the boundaries of classic popular music structures, swapping instruments, improvising their compositions and experimenting with equipment and various recording techniques. In the mid 90's some members took a little more rigorous look at the project and INTENSITY! went from a loose collective of people to a more defined line-up with the occasional guest artist. Members assembled every few months for an evening of musical madness fuelled by chutzpah and Cuervo, gradually evolving into the current incarnation of INTENSITY!
