Butch Karn

No stranger to performance, Butch's first gig was playing trumpet with the Salvation Army band on a street corner in 1969. Butch prefers playing original music, feeding of the enthusiasm of the other musicians and has performed with The Crowd, Speaking to Animals and Paul Waters. He plays bass, acoustic guitar and enjoys tinkering with the keyboard. Into creating his own music and sound, Butch says playing with INTENSITY! is the greatest challenge a musician can be given - create on the spot! He and Steve Rose have been performing together for twenty two years.
