INTENSITY! @ PEABODY’S

Improvisation is the main focus of jazz-groove band INTENSITY!’s music. Band members Steve Rose, Butch Karn, Sergei Czerewko, Jim McFarlen, and Pat Ross describe their sound as “jazz in the purest definition,” meaning they improvise without using the basic structure commonly used for soloing in jazz. With each member playing at least two instruments, and some playing even five or ten, INTENSITY! Creates a unique sound with quite a groove.
